At this stage, it’s essentially a dense chunk of aerospace-grade metal with dreams of becoming something more. Every forged upper you’ve ever used starts life right here, long before CNC machines, tight tolerances, and sanity take over.
These forgings are heavy, rugged, and unapologetically unfinished. Turning one into a functional upper receiver requires advanced machining knowledge, proper tooling, and a strong understanding of what you’re getting into. This is not a beginner project.
